On Thursday CelebNHealth247.com has learned that Don Rickles has died at the age of 90 years old just weeks after his 52 wedding anniversary.

Don Rickles passed away this morning of kidney failure at his home in Los Angeles. Mr. Rickles wife, Barbara, was by his side.

The comedian posted his last Tweet on March 11, 2017, stating:

We grew up on Don Rickles humor. He touched on everything everyone was afraid to talk about. He was the king of venomous insults, raunchiness, and rawness humor. There is no one like him. He was a comedic great. One of the funniest men in comedy. After Don Rickles the mold was broken.

Comedic Legend Don Rickles Dead at 90!

The comedic genius rose to fame in the ’60s and was a regular guest on “The Tonight Show” and “The Dean Martin Show.” He loved to pop up and make people laugh. From there Rickles got Frank Sinatra’s attention in Miami Beach when he performed a comedy routine, and the 2 regularly worked together throughout the years.


The funny man of insult comedy was a master at roasting celebs at The Friar’s Club. If you had the honor of being roasted by Rickles brutally wicked jokes then you know you had arrived to celebrity status.

Farewell Don Rickles, and thank you for all the laughs you gave us!

There is no one like Rickles. In the 80s he started performing in Vegas with Steve Lawrence, taking the town by storm. The comedic legend had his own TV show, “The Don Rickles Show,” on ABC. In his later years, he was the voice of Mr. Potato Head in the ‘Toy Story’ movies.

Rickles was also a regular on “The Dick Van Dyke Show,” “The Addams Family” and “Gilligan’s Island.”

Hollywood and the world lost another bright shining star. He will always be remembered.
