If you are a fan of Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop website, then today you got a HUGE dose of all about me.
According to a “fan letter” Gwyneth Paltrow talked about herself after she received a compliment. Read on…
CelebNMusic247.com reports, on Tuesday’s Goop newsletter, hit a nerve a PR pro who said, “Ewww. What narcissism!”
In the “Ask GP” section of Goop, Gwyneth Paltrow herself replied to a fan who wrote, “Dear GP, I love you. You’re forty-six and the makeup-free selfies you post are so inspiring! How do you keep your skin in such amazing shape?”
Goop “Paltrow” responded saying:
Dear Linda, Thank you—that’s such an incredibly nice thing to say. I think the way anyone’s skin looks depends on all kinds of things, and genetics are for sure a factor. But I think it’s possible to make a difference in how your skin looks and feels with a clean diet, exercise, great supplements, and really great, nontoxic skin care.
Paltrow quickly turned the response into an opportunity to promote her skin care line:
I couldn’t find the kind of skin care in the clean, nontoxic space that I wanted, which is why we created the goop skin-care line.
She goes on to say:
And within the skin-care line, I do have a favorite: the Exfoliating Instant Facial. It was one of the hardest products to get right, and it’s the one I wanted the most!
Gwyneth continues to reveal that she uses the product more than the recommended times, but the results are fabulous:
To me, it’s like a professional facial in a jar. Officially, you’re supposed to use it three times a week, but I use it every night. I smooth it on generously and leave it on until my face starts to tingle (in a good way; it’s all five natural alpha hydroxy acids plus beta hydroxy acid all doing their work).
