The “Xanadu” singer found herself fighting cancer for a second time in May, but now we are happy to report Olivia Newton-John is on the mend.
CelebNHealth247.com has received word via a rep for Olivia Newton-John who revealed to ET that the pop star is on the mend.
Her rep said:
“Olivia is finishing her treatments and is excited to see her fans when she begins performing again next week.”
The month the iconic singer also reached out to her fans with a health update to let them know her progress.
She is “feeling better and so look forward to seeing you soon.”
This is the Grease star’s second go around facing breast cancer head on and winning!
The 68-year-old singer thanked all of her fans for the support and loving messages:
“I’d like to express my gratitude to all of you who sent such kind and loving messages of support over the past few months. Your prayers and well wishes have truly helped me, and continued to lift my spirits.”

Newton-John became an advocate for breast cancer awareness and early detection after she was diagnosed in 1992. She underwent a partial mastectomy. She was forced to cancel her tour in May after complaints of back pain which turned out to be breast cancer that had metastasized to the sacrum.
