If you recall, Former Roc-A-Fella Records and current Roc Nation signee, Freeway, was diagnosed with kidney failure almost three years ago.

CelebNHealth247.com got word this week about Freeway’s condition, so he is the latest on the rap veteran’s situation.
Through the struggle of needing a kidney the Philly rapper Freeway refuses to give up. He feels “anyone can give up, it’s the easiest thing in the world to do.”
The Roc Nation rapper adds, “to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that’s true strength.”
Despite, the severity of his situation, Freeway, born Leslie Edward Pridgen had this to say about needing a kidney from the Baltimore’s John Hopkins Hospital via social media:

The 39-year-old rapper adds:
They say a person needs just three things to be truly happy in this world: someone to love, something to do, and something to hope for.
Freeway is working with one of the best transpland surgeons in the US, anow that he is hopeful things are turning around he took the time to introduce his doctor.

Freeway has had pleny of time for reflection over the years and he decided to offer some advice to his followers.
The “Rock the Mic” rapper said:
