Avocados are one of my favorite and most used foods. They’re so versatile and satisfying. Plus, you can find them almost anywhere in the world. Now you know you can go out and buy Avocado Toast for $8.00 in a trendy restaurant, but why waste the bucks.
Make it at home. It’s one of the easiest and healthiest snack or meal dishes out there, so you have no excuse not to try it out. It’s fun to play around with ingredients when it comes to avocados and toast. You can go sweet or salty, and top it with pretty much anything. Just add a little lemon juice, cayenne pepper (in case you like a little kick) and/or Maldon sea salt. You can add honey instead of sprouts and cayenne, or add in veggies to make a lunch time sandwich out of it. For the honey, we suggest local so it will help with allergies season. Make sure the bee honey is from your area. And for the veggies we love tomatoes, cucumbers or sweet red and yellow peppers.
Nutrition wise, avocados not only taste great they’re one of the greatest sources of healthy fats, which are essential for increasing brain function, reducing inflammation, and protecting against certain types of cancers. Avocados are also a go-to for glowing skin too. Now you have to try it!
