CelebnHealth247.com reports since the complications he suffered the Juice Crew legend Biz Markie has reportedly been keeping a low profile.

It has been confirmed that the 56-year-old rapper was taken to the hospital after having a diabetic episode.

At that time, Markie’s manager Jenni Izumi said in a statement to WUSA9?s Delia Goncalves:

We are grateful for the concern from his fans and industry peers but respectfully request privacy for Biz and his family at this time.

While Biz Markie was in the hospital he slipped into a coma, triggered by his diabetes, then had a stroke.

A source revealed to HipHopDX:

He’s not doing great, but it’s not as scandalous as it felt in the beginning. The short story is Biz is diabetic, he had slipped into a diabetic coma, but that has happened to him in the past and it would only last a little while. He would go to the hospital, get discharged, and get his meds under control. This particular time, he had a stroke while he was in the middle of the coma.

He NEVER had the coronavirus.
