Moderna + Pfizer Vaccines Vs Delta Variant; How Long They Last?
We found this interesting on the length that both the Moderna + Pfizer Vaccines last after the second shot.
Get vaccinated as soon as you can. If you’re in an area of substantial or high transmission, wear a mask indoors in public, even if you’re fully vaccinated.

CelebnHealth247.com feels that people who are not vaccinated are looking for information and we are trying to ease their minds to get vaccinated.
On July 27, 2021, CDC released updated guidance on the need for urgently increasing COVID-19 vaccination coverage and a recommendation for everyone in areas of substantial or high transmission to wear a mask in public indoor places, even if they are fully vaccinated. CDC issued this new guidance due to several concerning developments and newly emerging data signals.
Not being vaccinated with the delta variant spreading faster than COVID-19 is straight-up dumb at this point. No one wants to be hospitalized and or possibly die because they didn’t get vaccinated.
What you NEED to know:
The Delta variant is highly contagious, more than 2x as contagious as previous variants.
When it comes to Moderna after a phase three study scientists have found that the two-dose vaccine was 93% effective and that its efficacy lasts six months.
As for Pfizer and BioNTech, the efficiency of their vaccine declines to about 84% six months after the second shot.
With the Delta variant spreading right now:
- The Moderna vaccine is only 72% to 95% effective against the delta variant.
- The Pfizer vaccine is only 42% to 96% effective against the delta variant.
- The J&J vaccine is only 67% effective against the delta variant.
This is what the third shot aka vaccine booster is necessary against COVID and the Delta variant.
